Finally I found a english podcast

After I spent all my nigth for find a english podcast, I found it just at the moment where the sun wakes up.

So I present it with a real pleasure : KCRW's Theatre Talk

This morning, I listened the story of meeting between George Orwell and Ernest Hemingway. (I have the podcast on my USB key)

Find a pleasant blog

This morning, I found a blog called "podcast.hautefort.com". This blog explains "here we don't read, you look and hear".

If you have time, you can see a video film with a sing of Jacques Brel (and Noir Désir) who shows our president and government.

This blog explains how to hear and make a podcast.

I think it 's a good example that you can do on an blog.

Interdependence

The importance of interdependence on internet is enormous. If you want that few people saw your site, you must create links on another sites. Because the same sites could do the same thing. So you increase your chance for seing by more people.

For example, on the site "cuisinorama", you can learn how to do the cooking. The sites proposes links on cooking books on Amazon, and links on a site "chateauonline" which you coult buy wine . The site does many another links, with a supermarket "superU" or "lediet" a site whick explain how to lose weight.

An another example on Amazon : the site is a big succes because on almost all sites / blogs who speaks books, the links point on their site (like mine!).

4 principles of e-culture

We determined 4 principles of e-culture. For these 4 principles, I choose examples of websites which illustrate them.

1 / Impermanence : every thing changes all of time
Yahoo (current events and information change very regularly)
Ticketnet (to buy in line or reserver bills in concerts, bills of spectacles, places of opera)

2/ Transparency : code of conduct
The french bank "Banque populaire" who speaks inside the heading durable development : "economic responsability", "responsibility evers the society " and "environmental responsibility and solidarity ".
The supermarket "Auchan" who presents itself like a responsible company around three values éthic, partnership and solidarity.
The group Danone who speaks about durable development with a double economic and social project.

3/ Reward for open minds
MSN messenger

4 / Time based
Voyages.sncf (to buy train tickets without me to move)
3suisses (to choose and buy clothes without to go shopping)
Auchandirect (to buy food)

16 Categories of desire

A little wink to my mother-in-law who repeats me that it will be wonderful if I could read in english.

But I'm sorry but I'm not yet able to do today. But I promise that I try to improve me.

So if you read english without problem, do not hesitate to read this book "16 categories of desire" of Douglas Glover or if you are like me, you can read in french " seize sortes de désirs", translated by Micheline Lanctôt (she's my mother-in-law; she lives in Quebec).

16 short stories , 16 different desires ...

because at the bottom in the life, there is only the desire which counts ! (to be happy, to be liked, to make a success of, ... ).

Discovered podcasts

The podcasting is a usually free means of diffusion of sound or video files on Internet. Listeners who will seek themselves the audio or video files.

I don't know very well the world of podcast ... I discovered them since only two or three months.

But now I can listen on radio France Inter : " Le mot de la fin " by Alain Rey, " A titre subjectif by Patricia Martin" or " L'as-tu lu mon p'tit loup ? " by Denis Cheissoux et Patrice Wolf; and the podcasts of Radio Nova : for example listen Sonar, an another way of discovering and deciphering information and actuality.

Google : free or payant service ???

Can we say that Google give or sell their product?

If we think that Google don't sell their product, we can ask us the question : how do Google make to be profitable and to be apperead in stock exchange?

Perhaps for the cybernauts, Google offers their service and we can think that all is free. In popular imagination, Google seems to participate to the new world of Internet : no money and echange and communications for all.

But for organizations and societies, this isn't really the same thing. If you want to appear on the pages of Google, you must pay some money !!!

So pleasant to read in bed

I would like staying in bed this morning for a book... but I must return to school for english lessons.

It's difficult but perhaps after I coult read american writers in th original text.

Know : Paul Auster or Philip Roth
